Artichokes with virgin olive oil
Ingredients for 4 people
- 1.5 kg. of artichokes
- ½ l. of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 l. of water
- 4 lemons
- Salt
Preparation
Clean the artichokes one by one, leaving just the heart, and rub a little lemon on them. Drop them into a saucepan with the water, the salt, the juice of 2 lemons and the extra virgin olive oil. Place the saucepan on the heat and boil until the artichokes are tender.
Finish and presentation
Arrange the artichokes on a dish and pour a little extra virgin olive oil over them.
